How To Prepare For Genius® RF Microneedling
- Please come in with a clean face
- Remove any jewelry in the area that will be treated
- We will provide numbing cream to ensure that the treatment is more comfortable
- We ask that patients refrain from applying makeup for 24 hours after the treatment
What To Expect During Genius® RF Treatment
On the day of your treatment please arrive with a clean face. Photographs will be taken and skin will be numbed with a topical cream for patient comfort. Once numb, the applicator delivers radio frequencies through microneedles as it punctures the skin. A serum can also be applied after the treatment to help soothe and calm the skin. While treatment times vary depending on the size of the area being treated, on average Genius treatments take an hour and a half.
Recovery
Recovery varies from person to person but most patients have little to no downtime. After the treatment patients will have a pink hue of the skin and sometimes tiny needle marks that generally disappear within 24—48 hours.
