Juvéderm™ Injections

Juvéderm™ is the newest of the hyaluronic acids injectables. It is a crystal-clear, biodegradable non-animal hyaluronic acid gel. Juvéderm™ is injected into the superficial layers of the skin with a very fine needle to soften the appearance of deep facial folds such as the deep lines or creases running from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds). Juvéderm™ can also be used to provide volume to areas of the face which have “deflated” over time such as the lips and cheeks. These treatments require minimal or no downtime. Most patients immediately notice a softening of facial lines and wrinkles or more defined, fuller lips. Just as with Botox®, treatments must be repeated periodically.
